Jim, who took over from his father, along with his wife Sandy have built the business into the loyal, community-based dealership it is today. ABOUT HALTOM EQUIPMENT INC.: Founded in 1979, by the Haltom family in Mooresville, IN, Haltom Equipment has been providing quality lawn and garden equipment, parts, and service since the beginning. As the needs of the business shifted and the Benko family took over the company, there was a shift to move from a one brand dealer to a multi-brand dealership in 2010. MUTTON POWER EQUIPMENT TRANSITIONS TO RUSSO: Since the 1940s, the Mutton family has been an integral part of the landscape industry. But it wasn’t until 1976 that they opened a true dealership. Fast forward to 2023 and Jim Mutton sold his family’s dealership on Illinois Road in Fort Wayne, IN to Russo Power Equipment. With new ownership comes change, in this case, it comes in the form of a new name, new processes, new brands, and new services. However what will not change is the same familiar staff continuing to greet customers and offer quality lawn equipment to professional landscapers and landowners alike, but now as Russo Power Equipment!
