In some cases, you might need to return a product. Follow the instructions below to help you with your return:
We will not accept a return without a Product Return Number (PRN). Please email us at email@example.com to obtain a PRN and shipping instructions. We will give you credit in the same manner in which you first paid within 14 business days of receiving the returned item. If your return does not have an issued PRN number by Russo Power Equipment your return will not be processed. All returnable parts and power equipment will have a 15% restocking fee. Please read below too see if your purchase will qualify as returnable.
Unopened Merchandise Return (New In Box)
The customer may return any unopened (New in Box) merchandise within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund. As previously stated, even if the PRN is granted, the customer will be responsible for both the outbound shipping and return shipping charges as well as a 15% restocking fee.
Opened Merchandise Return
Merchandise that has been “Opened” may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, but there will be a 15% restocking fee. As previously stated, even if the PRN is granted the customer will be responsible for both the outbound shipping and return shipping charges. The returned items must be in a condition worthy of selling “new” with all original materials and packaging present.
Parts that are eligible for return will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. All Parts Returns must be returned to Russo Power Equipment within 10 business days of confirmed delivery. As previously stated, even if the PRN is granted the customer will be responsible for both the outbound shipping and return shipping charges. The returned part(s) must be in a condition worthy of selling “new”, if the part(s) are not in a "new" condition we will not accept the return. (See Special Order Returns for more information)
Special Order Returns
If an item has been specifically ordered for you and it is not an item we carry in stock, we cannot accept a return. . This also holds true if an order is drop shipped from a manufacturer, as it is also not a product we would typically stock. Many items in our Parts Finder fall under the Special Order Returns policy, and are not eligible for return. If it is a common product that we did not have in stock due to a back order or limited availability situation, it may be eligible for a return but will be handled on a case-by-case situation. We are unable to take a return of any electrical parts including but not limited to clutches, solenoids, lights, starter motors, and wiring harnesses. If you have any questions about returning electrical parts please email us at email@example.com.
Motors and Pumps
Motors and pumps are not returnable if they have been installed/used. Mounting and installing incorrectly causes failures, which is why they are not warrantable.
Power Equipment Returns
Power Equipment is not eligible for returns once it has been in contact with gas or oil. Once gassed or oiled it cannot be shipped by law. If you have gassed or oiled the machine and are having problems, you will need to take it to an authorized service center. If it is a manufacturer defect it may be covered under warranty through a servicing dealer. If the equipment has a defect upon receipt it is eligible to be taken to an authorized service dealer. We will honor the warranty and perform any service needed; however the customer is responsible for both the outbound and return shipping for the item. These items are not eligible for exchange.
Once Orders have shipped they have no way of being canceled for any reason. If you choose to refuse the order it will be considered a return. You will be charged round trip shipping costs and returned the rest of your money.
It is the consumer’s responsibility to inspect the merchandise before signing for merchandise.
If it appears the packaging looks damaged ask the carrier to note the package may have freight damage while the deliverer is present. If the deliverer is not present take pictures of the package as this will help if a claim is needed. If you find the product inside is damaged please contact us with the details so we can remedy the situation promptly.
If there is clear damage to the product DO NOT SIGN for the package REFUSE DELIVERY, and CONTACT US. If your package did not require a signature but is clearly damaged please call immediately so we can file a claim and find a solution to get you your product.
Missing or Damaged Material Returns
If you have received your PRN and are returning a product that is missing the original box, manual, packing material, any original contents, accessories, or if anything is damaged you will be charged an additional fee over the 15% restocking fee.
We recommend that you use or at least inspect the product as soon as possible. That way we can remedy any issues as quickly as possible.
If you find the product is defective, email us immediately. In many cases we can solve the issue promptly.
Another viable solution would be to call the manufacturer. Most manufacturers have a product support/customer service line. Please have the model and serial number of the product ready for the most expedited service.
If you have gassed or oiled your power equipment and are having problems with it, you will need to take it to an Authorized Service Center. We cannot take something back that has been gassed or oiled. You can find the closest servicing center to you by visiting the manufacturers website or by calling the manufacturer. If it is a manufacture defect it may be covered under warranty through that service center.
