Since 1970, the professionals who work the land have shaped everything we do. What started as Russo Ace Hardware, a family-owned franchise, evolved into Russo Power Equipment as our focus shifted to outdoor power. Today, as Russo Outdoor Power Plus, our name reflects the full scope of who we serve: landscapers, municipalities, park districts, turf care specialists, arborists, landowners, and snow removal companies across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Iowa.

The name has changed over the years, but the foundation hasn't. We're still here to provide the best outdoor power equipment, snow removal tools, and turf care machinery while holding onto the family values we were built on. Our Service

Russo got its start on the northwest side of Chicago in 1970 as a neighborhood hardware store. More than 50 years later, we've grown into one of the Midwest's premier outdoor power equipment and landscape supply dealers, but the way we do business hasn't changed much. We still take the time to get to know our customers, whether you're running a large landscaping operation or maintaining your own property. The first Russo Power Equipment location is opened on Dakin Ave. in Dunning Square on Chicago's northwest side.

2005
