Bulk Road Salt
Tons of Quality Salt at a Competitive Price
Rock Salt - Works well down to 5˚F. This is one of the most popular ice melt options. Rock salt is used on highways, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots & more, and it doesn't chemically break down concrete.
Treated - Works well down to -20˚F. Standard rock salt is treated with a proprietary blend of Calcium + Performance Enhancer with Corrosion Inhibitor that combines to increase melting power.

We offer a wide variety of de-icing materials in a vast number of sizes to suit your professional snow and ice management needs.
Sodium Chloride (NaCl) - Effective down to 5°F, most popular and most commonly used on highways
Magnesium Chloride (MgCl2) - Effective down to -15°F, considered "environmentally friendly"
Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) - Effective down to -25°F, recognized as the "fast-acting, premium de-icer"
Potassium Chloride (KCl) - Effective down to -15°F, works slowly but is one of the more environmentally friendly options
Acetates - Most commonly used on structural concrete, parking garages, and airports where chlorides are banned
Water Softener Salt - Used as a rock salt alternative, it's extremely safe for humans and pets
Others - There is a plethora of other compound products, but they only represent a very small portion of the market. Urea, ammonium sulfate, glycols, and formates are the most common. Additionally, there are a variety of options available that combine the different chemicals together as a powerful de-icing product.

Bulk Orders
- Loose, unwrapped material sold by the truckload (20-22 tons).
- All bulk road salt orders are delivered from our multi-acre Lemont Salt Pile to your yard.
Packaged Orders
- Bagged product sold by the skid or pallet (bags are 49-55 per bag).
- Pick-up or delivery with lift-gates, pallet forks, or forklifts is available.
Liquid Orders
- Fluid material sold by the gallon, 265 gal. tote, or by the truckload.
